How does pricing work?
As you are no doubt aware, we offer two plans - the Lite plan which has all the basic features to help you with your techincal recruiting needs and the Full Featured plan that has a host of additonal benefits. You simply pay a month (or year) in advance for the number of candidates you estimate you will test. At the end of each period, we tot up what you have actually used and credit or debit your account accordingly.
If I underestimate my usage?
Not an issue and, in fact, most people will either underestimate or overestimate their use. We ask you to estimate your usage so we can give you some idea of likely cost and you pay in advance for that usage (monthly or annually). Your actual use is calculated at the end of each billing period, we then pass on any charges or refunds to your account. Think of your account like a utility bill, you pay for what you use and you get a discount for higher usage. Estimate your usage as accurately as possible if you would like reasonably unvaried bills.
If I overestimate my usage?
That is not a problem. In fact, depending on how much you have overestimated, you may be entitled to a refund which we will calculate and apply automatically. You can alter your estimates at any stage and we will adjust accordingly, taking into account what you have already paid, and we will pass on any refunds you are entitled to as credits in your next billing period. Can I adjust or change my plan?
Yes, for sure. You can change your plan from Lite to Full Featured or visa versa as often as you like - you can even revert to Pay as you Go if you wish. You can also adjust your estimated usage to respond to changing circumstances - we fully understand that projects are cancelled or put on hold. We offer a really flexible system that allows you to adjust to changes in demand.
Can I cancel?
Yes you can - but we would hate to see you go! If you are planning to cancel, you can download all your data and, in fact, we will hold your data for 6 months in case you change your mind. We would also like to get in touch with you, with your permission, simply to understand if there is anything we could do better or if there are any features you would like to see.
Can I change from Lite to the Full Featured plan?
Yes, absolutely. You can change from the Lite plan to the Full Featured plan and revert to the Lite plan as often as you like. It’s a good idea for you to get comfortable with all the extra benefits the Full Featured plan offers to simply upgrade for a few months and then decide which best suits your budget and your needs. If at any time you would like a demo of the Ful Featured plan and its benefits, all you need to do is ask.
If I cancel and sign up again later?
We will hold all your transactions and details securely for a period of 6 months. When you return, as long as it is within the six month period, all your transactions and details will still be in place. Don’t worry, we will let you know before any of your data is deleted and you will have an adequate opportunity to download all your data. In fact, you can download your data at any time while you are a provenCoder user.
How can I pay - credit card only?
At the moment, we are only offering credit card as a payment option. However, we will shortly be introducing a direct debit option for flexible payments. You can download your invoice at any point and adjust your settings to enable invoices to be forwarded to you by email monthly or annually. Please get in touch if you need another alternative and we will do our best to accomodate you.
How does the 6 credits for the trial period work?
Once you sign up, you have 6 credits to test any coder candidates. You can mix this any way you wish, ask 6 candidates to take a test or ask 3 candidates to take a test and then follow up with a more difficult test. You will not be asked to sign up for a payment plan until you have used the 6 credits and, of course, you can also upgrade your plan at any point – it’s really up to you to mix and match as you see fit.
